Expertise Summary

Dr Busca has a good scientific back ground gained in Physical-Chemistry. He came over in Nottingham to take on the engineering and business aspects of environmental issues. He gained experience and extensive knowledge in membrane separation technologies during his PhD at the University of Nottingham. Prior joining the ETC, he already had a good experience in waste treatment technologies and worked as a team leader for a waste collection company in France.

Gerald's role in the ETC, is to provide assistance to SMEs in the East Midland Region through European programme and to establish close relationship between businesses and the University. He now specialises in managing innovation and technology transfer projects and perfect the art of being an interface between academia and businesses.
